Why Polygon Is Losing Pace

“An investor letter, dated July 21, offers a glimpse into managing a fund that is in the throes of being liquidated. Polygon said that between May and the end of June 2008, its Global Opportunities long portfolio–essentially bullish bets on securities–had declined by $273 million, to $2.03 billion. In June alone, the fund dumped about $185 million in assets. ”
